Nice establishment and good service. Servings are a little small; though, next time I go I’ll double the meal order and ask to place it on one plate.

Great service and food.

There is a lot to like about Resturaunt e18hteen. The service was excellent the seating area beautiful and the staff was very accommodating to the needs of my fussy six year old girl. This may be a place you might consider a little more expensive than most, but the value is reflected in the food and people. We loved our time at this restaurant.

We went as a large group on a Monday night, so the restaurant was quiet with just a few people dining so we were a little concerned we'd be too loud being a large group. They couldn't have been nicer, wonderful service and great food. I had the halibut which was a bit small but the Ribeyes my colleagues ordered was large and very tasty.

It's a fancy place for special occasions, I don't think I would go there just for the food. A bit too expensive but the food is really tasty.

My husband and I came here for our first anniversary. We tried Chef’s tasting. The food was awesome and the service as well. I’d like to come again for next anniversary! :D

Excellent good food and good wine list. Service was very friendly but not up to the standard you would expect at a restaurant priced this way. Food took a very long time to arrive even though the restaurant was nowhere near full, in the meantime bread basket was left empty. Asked for a refill of one of my drinks and it never came. At this price point, I expect much better service.

Absolutely delicious, The service was incredible, and the environment was the icing on the cake. Their food was perfectly portion, and the presentation was perfect! Will be back!

I hadn’t been to restaurant 18 in several years, but I was invited to a corporate Christmas party last week as a plus one and it was fabulous! The food was beautifully plated and delicious, and the service was excellent. Awesome job restaurant 18 team!

Food and service is always amazing. If you want an ever changing experience go with the 3 or 5 course tasting! Expect to stay for a few hours

Very nice market with organic and very fresh products. The small places for eat are incredible.

Great food and very impressive service. We could not find a cocktail that we liked so we described our tastes and our server prepared one for each of us that could not have been better. The food was well prepared and presented. The timing was perfect. An enjoyable experience overall.

Fabulous place. This is an old building in the Byward market which has been converted into an upscale restaurant and bar. The decor is eye catching and comfortable, the noise level reasonable. The staff are friendly, professional ,available bit not obtrusive. The food was great. We began with grilled octopus and oysters and then most of the group had steak of some sort, one had the cod. Everyone enjoyed their entree. I will definitely return on my next trip to Ottawa

Really trendy and delicious restaurant. The thing that most caught my eye is the location and ambiance of the restaurant itself. The restaurant is inside a gorgeous historical building. The walls are all stone. We were seated by the fireplace and it was a beautiful setting. The food was amazing. I ordered the lamb while my boyfriend ordered the duck. Both were delicious but the duck was absolutely amazing, definitely would have both ordered duck in retrospect. We got beef tartare as an appetizer which was also great. The plates were the size you would expect from a higher end spot such as this one. With an appetizer and wine we were definitely satisfied. They have a great wine selection, I have also been told their cocktails are delicious. Definitely would recommend this for a lovely date spot.
